In collaboration with Germantown Community Theatre, the Hot Foot Honeys present SOUND MATTER: an exploration of movement, tempo, volume, tone, and of course, rhythm. SOUND MATTER showcases how sound enhances our experiences, memories, values, and beliefs, and celebrates what tap dance uniquely is - music through motion. Hot Foot Honeys Tap Dance Company was founded in 2012 by Marianne Bell, and under the new direction of Brooke Jerome and Sara Sims, the Hot Foot Honeys continue to preserve, promote, and perform rhythm tap dance across the Mid-South. SOUND MATTER features performances by Erin Billingsley, Katie Cowden, Susan Elswick, Brooke Jerome, Meredith Keaton, Kennedy McCaskill, Jelissa Myers, Graycie Pegram, Sara Sims, Elizabeth Smithers, Laura Testino, and Olivia Wilkinson, with guest artists.
